Dr. Maja Malić

Dr. Maja Malić is a specialist in otorhinolaryngology and facial plastic surgery with a primary focus on nasal surgery and facial aesthetics. She is one of the few female physicians in the region holding two European board examinations — FEBORL-HNS (Vienna, 2016) and the European Board Examination in Facial Plastic Surgery (Dublin, 2025).

She completed her residency at the University Clinical Centre in Skopje and part of her training at the University of Michigan (USA). She has trained under leading rhinoplasty surgeons — Husseyn Balikçi and Baris Çakir — and is a regularly invited speaker at international rhinoplasty congresses.

At Poliklinika Malić she performs 250–300 nasal surgeries annually, applying a preservation piezo technique that enables precise bone remodelling without nasal packing, with minimal swelling and faster recovery.

Each procedure is planned individually — through analysis of facial proportions, profile, skin thickness and the patient's desired outcome. A result that looks natural and functions well is her fundamental surgical goal.
